Visas requirements
There are different types of India eVisa, as follows:
- For tourism reasons, the e-Tourist Visa
- For business reasons, the e-Business Visa
- For medical reasons, the e-Medical Visa
For conference reasons, the most appropriate type of visa is named “Business Visa e-B5 V”.
For convenience, from now it will be referred as “Conference Visa”.

All people who are willing to travel to India to attend IFCC WorldLab New Delhi 2026 as delegates, visitors and/or exhibitors should apply for Conference Visa.
To apply for Conference Visa, please mark point xi “Business Visa e-B5 V for attending an international conference/seminar/workshop” in the eVisa application when asking for purpose of visiting 🡪 see image for example
Accompanying persons (not attending the Conference) can apply for eTourist Visa instead.
To apply for Conference Visa, several documents are required, among which:
- Scanned Bio Page of the passport showing Photograph and Details
- Invitation from organizers
- Political clearance from Ministry of External Affairs – to be sent by the Organizing Secretariat upon approval
- Event clearance from Ministry of Home Affairs download here

PRE-APPLICATION FORM
Before applying for Conference Visa, you must submit your personal data in the following PRE-APPLICATION FORM
- WHY TO COMPLETE THE PRE-APPLICATION FORM?
The PRE-APPLICATION FORM is required to collect data from people willing to attend IFCC WorldLab New Delhi 2026 and need to apply for Conference Visa.
In fact, your personal data needs to be submitted by the Organizers to the Indian Ministry of External Affairs before you can apply for Conference Visa. Therefore, please make sure to fill out the PRE-APPLICATION FORM before actually applying for Conference Visa. Otherwise, your application will be rejected.
- WHEN CAN I APPLY FOR CONFERENCE VISA?
You can apply for Conference Visa only after completing the PRE-APPLICATION FORM, as your data needs to be transferred to the Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) beforehand.
Lists of applicants will be regularly sent to the MEA every 2 weeks. You need to wait until the list including your data is properly submitted and clearance is received from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). Once the clearance is received from MEA, you will be informed accordingly. After that moment, you can apply for Conference visa.
However, remember that application can be made starting from 120 days in advance from the arrival date (not earlier).
PARTICIPANTS COMING FROM PRC COUNTRIES
Participants coming from Prior Reference Category (PRC) countries – Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Sudan, Foreigners of Pakistani origin, Stateless persons – are kindly asked to complete the PRE-APPLICATION FORM well in advance and in any case within 15th JULY as more scrutiny and additional paperwork might be required. eConference Visa will be issued to participants coming from PRC Countries after due diligence from MEA.
Please wait for green light from Organizing Secretariat (which will be notified via e-mail) before applying for Conference Visa in case you come from one of the PRC Countries.

Important Notes
- The PRE-APPLICATION FORM does not replace the official Visa application. It is only an intermediate step to be taken before the official Visa application.
- Application for Conference visa can be made only by the people who completed the PRE-APPLICATION FORM. It is crucial to complete the PRE-APPLICATION FORM before applying for the Conference Visa.
- Political clearance from the Nodal Ministry (Ministry of Health & Family Welfare), and from Ministry of Home Affairs will be represented by two documents named NOC (No Objection Certificates) available on congress website. You will be able to download those documents through the website and upload them when applying for Conference Visa.
- Political clearance from Ministry of External Affairs, instead, consists of a PDF document showing the list of all people whose data have been submitted to the Ministry for approval. The document will be sent by the Organizing Secretariat via e-mail once available.
